Meet Our Team
	John Hamrick is a bit of a legend in these parts. A former school teacher from West Virginia, John moved here 30 years ago and started a real estate and land development company. After several years of courting, he convinced Crescent—the real estate arm of Duke Energy—to give him exclusive rights to sell their Lake Keowee property. Crescent Resources uses their own sales teams to sell properties in other parts of the county. John showed them how a local real estate team could do as well—better—than the corporate group. Now there are more than 40 Crescent Communities offering a variety of neighborhood styles on and around Lake Keowee. Each community has its own landscaped entrance and unique mix of amenities that allow residents to enjoy unparalleled lifestyles. In the 30 years John has been selling and developing properties on Lake Keowee, he has amassed a terrific track record: over 1,500 lots sold; sales in excess of $300 million and he has been a part of developing more than 60 subdivisions. As Crescent development has slowed, John continues an active role in selling and marketing other projects. Keowee River, a recently announced 744-acre residential, commercial and Adventure Tourism development, is his latest venture and promises to provide unique opportunities for home owners, investors and commercial businesses. John is actively involved in the community and sits on the South Carolina JEDA (Jobs, Economic Development Authority) Board representing the 3rd Congressional District. He and his wife live on Lake Keowee and have two daughters and one granddaughter.

	Daniel comes from South Carolina’s Lowcountry, married a local girl and they, along with their daughter, live on Lake Keowee. Daniel enjoys the variety of people he meets and the unique challenges of selling homes, lake property, large land tracts and commercial real estate.
